all right i got this incident here which is a great use case of like how we fixed this before not having access to a folder let me just add this here um great i guess that link works we're just going to go ahead and save that i want to buy our peers look at that article that link is terrible we should change that to be more readable did you know we added a feature to do that no tell me more back on your incident we just added this new feature if you right click you can click on copy quick link if you go back to the kb article and you paste that in it'll actually paste the incident number as a link and the short description check out casey brella's copy quick link share item i'll have a link in the description below thanks casey and now i'm going to show you how to install it all right let's try setting this up on our personal developer instance you can see i have it up here i've got an incident open as well and a kb article uh to show it working so let's let's go and get installed when i looked at the share file it's just a ui action so we're just going to insert the xml for that thing by going to the ui action list right clicking on the header and then going to import xml and you can't see it but i'm dragging the file off screen onto the window so that inserted this this copy quick link here which um up over here as you can see has a whole bunch of comments and it talks about how to use it i'm not going to read them but let's let's try it out so i'm going to refresh this page and we have copy click link and if i paste it into a text field it does this if i go to a rich text formatted field it pastes it like this and that is fantastic thank you for making this casey
