hello friends welcome back to my youtube channel basically servicenow learning so in today's video we are going to talk about that how we can flush cache memory in servicenow or how we can clear caches in servicenow and we will also talk about that why there is a requirement to clear a cache so for that let's navigate to my servicenow personal development instance so friends this is my servicenow personal development instance so first talk about that how we can clear a cache so in servicenow basically we have two ways to clear a cache the first way is that in filter navigator you can type cache it will take few seconds see and the work is done so in that way you can clear your cache or you can also append that cache.due here and press enter the same thing will happen the another way is that you can navigate to background scripts here and here you can type gs dot cash flush see like this and you can run the script see starting cache flash flashing cache loading properties from tv cache flash complete so in these two ways we can clear cache in service now so now the question comes that why it is required so guys when we make some changes in ui let's say we are working in in service portal widget where we have created some ui using html css and we have make we make some some changes over there and when we run that particular script we find that why it is not executing why changes are not reflecting right even though we have done whatever thing is required but it's not reflecting the changes so in that case we do for browser right we delete the caches which we have in the browser we delete the cookies right to see that whether the changes get reflected the same way we can delete the cache or we can clear the caches in service now so that that particular changes will get reflected sometimes what happens ui pages are taking a lot of time to get loaded right in service now so in that case we can also clear the cache so when the things comes in terms of ui and we are not getting the expected thing after doing the right things in that case we can clear the cash uh the example which i have given basically from the development perspective so friend this is a very short topic so if this video is helpful for you then please do not forget to subscribe my youtube channel and if you need videos on specific service not topic then please do comment below thank you friends have a nice day bye
