the community is the biggest part of servicenow its employees are constantly innovating and they're coming up with new features and new products and making the platform better but the community is right there along with them like the community is helping developers learn those new features and those new products all kinds of people working on different parts of the platform so you really have like a diverse mixture of developers out there and i've made a lot of friends in the servicenow community i'm just talking with them about the platform and exchanging ideas and new perspectives on user interfaces and how we can design applications and make them better for all types of people to use because we're all really just there to help each other and i really think that helps it maintain a positive atmosphere i started my blog like a year ago and really i said to myself i'll just start this up for a year i'll see where it goes one big regret of mine is that i didn't start this blog earlier in my servicenow career i really wish i would have because it's a lot of fun i really enjoyed writing about things that i had no idea about a piece of advice that i'll give to new developers is if you want to write content whether it's on the community forum or starting your blog just start picking some topics and getting started and doing it that's the thing that i'm most proud of in my career so far as a servicenow developer really helping people and getting content out there and answering questions and that people can refer to later it's been really cool just to meet all the different types of people within the the community i'm really excited to see what this next generation of developers comes up with [Music] you
