the different careers that i've been in the different jobs that i've held i found a way to make a difference in communities using the servicenow platform the original goal was to go to law school because i was going to be a senator for the state of north carolina and i was going to help the people that lived here i decided not to go to law school but went and got my master's in public administration instead and so i pursued a career in state and local governments for a while but i ended up feeling like i was kind of stuck where i was i was working as an assistant city clerk at city hall in a small town and i looked at a lot of the paper processes that we had and i looked at what servicenow offered and i just saw the great potential for the automation of our processes and better service for citizens and at that time i was also teaching myself the art of graphic design web design and so i was looking for a way to focus more on the end user experience and service portal especially to create experiences for local government i've just started with a company that focuses on projects with state and local governments i am stepping back and taking more of an architect's approach where i am saying okay this is the design this is what this means the original dream of helping the people in the state that i grew up in the place that i love it has come back around and i have this way of supporting those communities and helping people not only here where i live but across the nation [Music]
