[Music] hey everyone it's Justin thank you for watching in this video I'm going to talk show you about one of my pet peeves and how to fix it and it has to do with Microsoft Edge the web browser if you're not a business user this video probably won't mean a lot to you if you're not a Windows user this video probably will mean a lot to you but for those of us that work in Windows and for those of us that work around Microsoft products I spend my most of my time around servicenow products what we it people tend to do is move between different browsers even developers right so I use Chrome I use Firefox and I use Microsoft Edge when I'm doing things with um ad or Azure or Azure ID stuff like that so I just leave all that in the edge browser it logs me into my developer account but if I'm doing work I usually do it in Chrome if I'm doing demos I do Chrome right so the pet peeve comes in here when I open up Chrome maybe I'm using profiles I'll get prompted for a profile no problem there if I open a new tab if there's going to be a nice blank page list of suggestions about things that I open up all the time usually I go straight to my bookmarks and open up winning it okay right super helpful makes me productive now if I open up Microsoft Edge this is what happens I get the news I get the weather I get a pretty background I get all this menu on the left hand side and this is driving me crazy and sometimes I'll admit it I would get sucked in and I'd go oh what's this you know some Rooms To Go furniture no I'm just kidding I won't click on the Rooms To Go furniture around but it's just not productive for me I don't need to see all this stuff when I'm working and this wasn't intuitive to fix so the first place I went is here into settings right so where else would you go fix the settings or change the settings right on this particular page nope that's not how it works what do you need to do what I had to do is look at this settings icon right here on the page itself that's where you need to be if you click on settings you'll see I've got a focused view I've got an inspirational View and this informational view that just got everything in the world so changes to focus get your life back get back to being productive don't click on the settings whatever and this will make you happier in Microsoft Edge if you have to use Microsoft Edge as part of your job or as far as your date a part of your day of life I wanted to share this because it wasn't easy for me to find I had to do a little bit of digging and now I know how to do it pretty quickly don't go to your settings go to the settings on the tab itself I hope you found this video helpful if you did please like Please Subscribe or share it with somebody you think might be interested and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music] foreign [Music]
