Next Experience Components are the reusable building blocks for creating user interfaces on the Web Experience Platform. Components are the base elements of pages in UI Builder and WEP Experiences and can range from core elements like buttons and labels to more complex components such as lists and forms. The Now Experience Design System comes with a set of 175+ customizable components that you can use to build or customize your experiences. If you have a use case which is not found in the component library, you can develop custom components using the Next Experience UI Framework and ServiceNow CLI.

The Next Experience Component Library is the definitive resource on re-usable components that can be used in UI Builder pages for WEP Experiences. Developers will find information on the parameters that components utilize, how to setup and use components in UI Builder, and which components are also available in NPM for the Now Command Line.

The Next Experience UI Framework enables developers to build custom web components to create a modern UI for their users. The ServiceNow CLI is the tool used to create web components that can be utilized in WEP Experiences.

For developers who want more of a deep dive on how to set up ServiceNow CLI, and more information on advanced topics when creating components.
