What is the Employee Center Pack?​

It is a collection of widgets that can automate and accelerate your day’s work. You get a range of widgets that are quick to install, configure and simple to use. ​

​Most users today have to context switch between many systems to get a single thread of work completed. We want to reduce that by providing a central place to get all the information you need for your workday!​

Once the administrator/developer has installed and configured the widgets end users can look up co-worker information, teams, office locations, monitor stock, check the weather, add, and manage their bookmarks. All these right on the Employee Center.​

Bookmark manager - create and manage bookmarks – A simple and effortless way to add bookmarks. The widget is custom to understand the ServiceNow request, Articles, and general links/URLs. The bookmark manager is available on the Employee Center. You can start adding your bookmarks as shown below

On the employee center you will find the Bookmarks menu option

Click that to open the bookmarks pane and just click on the Bookmark this page to add a title and hit submit

Add the details of the bookmark and hit Submit

To edit the bookmark click on Edit Bookmarks

To view, edit, delete all the saved bookmarks click on View all

Employee Directory – Get a complete directory of your colleagues. Lookup a fellow employee, view your entire team in one single place and filter based on department and location

On the employee center menu, you will find the Directory menu. Click on that to view all the employee's information and find your team

Team view - View your entire team and co-worker and reportees, if any, on the employee directory

Location Directory – Find an office near you. Get the address, pictures, and map view of any your company’s office locations

Social feed - Read the latest news and posts, of your company, from Workplace with just a few easy steps to configure.
