Who is doing resilience with security and risk right?
[Music] i'd like to take the opportunity to share with you my favorite customer story and as i thought about this it was really tough because we have so many interesting customer stories across our 7 000 customer base and across so many different industries from enabling disney to the work that we do with the mba our emergency relief apps that we offered at the start of this year but my favorite is the work that we do with financial services the top banks globally use servicenow as a crucial component of their i.t operations these banks have the largest budgets incredibly talented teams but they're also constantly being audited and if they don't demonstrate best-in-class security controls to their auditors they're at risk of billion-dollar fines and global reputational damage a number of breaches in past years has not helped this and only increased regulator scrutiny on these firms and that scrutiny in turn has been passed on to their core vendors like servicenow so we have city jpmorgan chase wells barclays lloyds australia banks canada banks india banks eu banks and many others constantly auditing us and they ask hard risk based questions in addition to standard control assessments this is really refreshing for our security teams as they help us challenge ourselves but also improve our security bar which benefits all of our customers what i also love about the big fintechs is that we get to see how they've used servicenow internally and in many cases as part of their security program often they're using workflows in innovative ways that we didn't even think of and as a bonus our work for them provides us insight into how these juggernauts address and manage cyber risk end-to-end which are fascinating learning experience to become intimate with their security programs you
