[Music] hey everyone it's justin thank you for watching in this video i want to talk to you about a new feature i just discovered myself on microsoft teams so if you look behind me here i've got microsoft teams up and running and i made sure to be showing the actual version that i'm running so you can um see if you're running the same version i am 1.5 and it ends in 17656 now i will tell you that i'm in the kind of a preview channel so i'm getting features that released by microsoft uh before they're released generally to the general public but i thought this one was cool enough to highlight notice um on the left hand side there's a pinned conversation um i didn't know pinning was a thing until just now when i saw this but the conversation is with myself so it's a self chat microsoft is pinning it to the top and notice in the middle this letting me know that this is my space the chat is just for me i can use it for drafts or to send files to myself um get to know features a little better and it made me think about something i do in my uh personal email where i send myself to do's like i sent it to my email or i need to go look at something that's kind of how i manage my lists um so i thought that was a pretty neat concept so i can say hi to myself and i'm just talking to myself so notice there's no other you know messages coming back over here on the right hand side if i were to send through some additional details in here so i could just put some text in there type different things hello and it's just keeping a running history now supposedly uh there's going to be an internal search coming for this where i can go ahead and search this content that i loaded in here but for now the search is done through that global search at the top so um another cool microsoft teams feature if you're a microsoft teams user if your job uses it i think this is really cool and uh i love to see how this evolves and what it evolves into but anytime i can talk to myself is a great time so i hope you found this video helpful if you did please like please subscribe or share with somebody you think might be interested and until next time don't forget to always be learning [Music] you
