this is paul group with glidecast consulting today i'm going to do a quick overview of a new servicenow store app called instance troubleshooter so this was released recently by servicenow and the servicenow store and is free at the time of this recording for all customers so you'll see here under instant troubleshooter you have this get started this is going to bring us to a page where they have pre-built troubleshooting scripts that run in the background to kind of you know help you with some troubleshooting if you're having some issues as of now these are not configurable or customizable it is this is what you get but this is release one so there are you know enhancements coming in the future so let's take a look at let's say import export let's say you're having some issues with importing exporting so we go ahead and kick off this troubleshooting we go take a look at the results so you'll see here we have scan findings and each one of these it's going to tell us you know record has at least one imports that run record complete per transform map and say in resolution details if you're expecting at least one record to be transformed check the log for errors and it gives you a link to the documentation so this is going to how to help you again guide you to hey here maybe some of your issues if we go back we can also run it let's say for service catalog this is going to be checking you know security it goes through some best practices you know some scripting best practices so numerous different things that's going to be telling you to that's going to be checking for you so this one's around the catalog business role customization so it is document you should not create before business rule customizations on catalog related tables and it gives you a link to the documentation and then you can you can link you right over to the business role it's finding some pretty cool stuff coming out with this app and then they also have a dashboard here that comes out of box with it so this is just showing you the weekly troubleshooter execution by suite so the different suites they have currently and how often they're being executed and then how many findings so you can kind of see workflow had quite a few findings or service catalog had you know quite a few left so it kind of gives you that breakdown of maybe where you want to focus your time at and then you know after you've had it running for you know a few months you can kind of see the trends here over the past 30 days what it's looking like and if you're if you're getting better or getting worse so once again this was called instance troubleshooter it is a new servicenow store app so if we come over here to servicenow store this is where you can find it it is already entitled to sub production instances and it also as of this recording it is still considered free as of now if you have any questions feel free to reach out to blackfastconsulting and also make sure to check out our other youtube videos while you're here thank you [Music] you
