[Music] greetings everyone on the occasion of international women's day i would like to honor every strong woman every strong jew who has stood up for the cause of individual respect i'm honoring my mom who is a frontline worker as a doctor i'm so proud of her and everything she does in the honor of my father raised three daughters he was a huge supporter he instilled in us the belief and the confidence that we could take on anything we wanted to thank you dad today and every day i am proud to honor one of the six percent of women who are pilots a woman who in the second grade had a dream and never wavered although many told her it couldn't be done today she flies a 600 000 pound aircraft with a wingspan of over 170 feet and she's not just any pilot she's a c-17 pilot in the united states air force today i'm honored to celebrate my amazing daughter caitlin kemp rupert on international women's day i'll be honoring my two young daughters they inspire me every single day with their creativity their intelligence their bravery and i'll be doing everything i can to make sure that when they enter the world of work they'll be equal opportunities for everyone today i honor the strong and resilient women and men who've been there to lift me up and encourage me through priceless feedback key introductions and ongoing belief in me as a woman in tech and as a latina woman in tech [Music] choose to challenge means calling out the gender bias smashing the stereotypes and fighting discrimination against women i challenge all of the men out there to be mentors allies to us in this process so choose to challenge for me means that i personally and professionally will do everything to maintain a gender equal mindset to fortune gender equal world i choose to challenge gender inequality in the society because we all are same doesn't matter what body we live in we think from here and that's all what we need there are unique perspectives that women i work with bring and we're all diminished when we don't take the time to listen and to celebrate the diversity of ideas i choose to challenge all of us to reach out to people with intersectional identities and have courageous conversations about what it will take to create a world of acceptance and belonging choose to challenge for me means addressing unequal topics that still exist in many countries worldwide such as women's rights to an education choose to challenge to me means to break barriers to not just be okay with what is told or taught but to always strive for change and progress this is just about us as a community of humans coming together and talking about sometimes a very difficult topic so i guess my choose the challenge is let's just all be in this together let's try let's change let's take our [Music] opportunity
