hello i'm deborah mcgrath senior technical product marketing manager at servicenow over the next five minutes i'll demo the servicenow portfolio 360 dashboard which gives the pmo and portfolio managers important details about their project portfolio health this helps them to transform from being reactive to being more strategic and it helps them achieve improved continuous planning and delivery of their desired business outcomes the portfolio 360 dashboard is a real-time drillable control panel that provides portfolio managers such as megan burke with a detailed analysis of the portfolio they are responsible for on the governance tab megan can clearly see where her organization's investments are in terms of life cycle real-time indicators of essential aspects of portfolio health include the number of demands by investment class number of open demands in the pipeline awaiting a decision by the month they were submitted project status priority projects at risk late projects projects with dependencies that have slipped and the number of projects with cost overruns an actual versus plan project spend over time split by change versus run class the investment analysis tab highlights the total plan cost of all megan's projects the plan portfolio investment by strategy table provides an overview of her planned project investments across all portfolios grouped by her organization's top enterprise strategies this helps megan to clearly communicate with business leaders about where the money is spent relative to those business strategies she also has five additional projects that are not aligned to these strategies by clicking into the employee engagement strategy hr portfolio cost she's able to quickly get additional details on the associated projects the plan portfolio investment by class widget spans all portfolios and provides an overview about the costs per investment class below megan can track plan benefit by desired business outcomes and she can quickly see which of her organization's business applications have the highest related plan project costs being able to prioritize the right projects and deliver them in the right way helps organizations achieve a greater return on investment to do that megan must track the benefits being delivered the kpis at the top of the benefits tracking tab let her quickly identify areas in need of attention she can also see what the plan benefits are and what actual benefits have been achieved from a benefit category and a trend perspective the benefit tracking widget on the bottom provides a detailed view of the planned benefits of projects when they are expecting to achieve them and what the current level of attainment is getting visibility into the status of project change requests across the portfolio can be difficult but it's easy with the portfolio 360 dashboard where megan views project change requests on an interactive visual task board the visual task board enables her and other board members to have visibility of the full project change request lifecycle it helps to make the process much more collaborative when assessing what to promote to the next stage quality monitoring keeps megan informed about risks issues resources and milestones and is also helping the pmo shift from being reactive to more strategic here megan can quickly identify those risks and issues that are overdue and where mitigation actions should have taken place she's also alerted to the projects that have outstanding status reports late key milestones cross-dependency slippages and overdue resource requests and she relies on this at a glance view of risk impact versus probability to proactively manage and mitigate risks essential for effective continuous planning and delivery the roadmap provides an interactive timeline visualization that displays the organization's project and portfolio strategic and operational activities over time and the go live calendar enables megan to easily see when upcoming go lives for projects in the portfolios she manages are scheduled and when potential bottlenecks may occur so that she can take action proactively every calendar entry represents a go live task of a project clicking on one of the entries in the calendar opens up the appropriate go live project task and provides megan with all the associated details we just demonstrated how the servicenow portfolio 360 dashboard provides the pmo and portfolio managers with important details about their project portfolio health this helps them transform from being reactive to being more strategic and to achieve improved continuous planning and delivery of their desired business outcomes for additional information visit servicenow.com itbm
