Analytics in Quebec - Apr 21st, 2021 - Performance Analytics Academy
okay hello we are at the top of the hour so good morning good afternoon good evening wherever you may be and the world uh welcome to new attendees if you've never been to a performance analytics academy before uh and for those of you that are returners welcome back uh so real quick we'll just do an introduction and then we'll run through some logistics and then we'll get directly into the presentation and some demo and then we will get to q a where you can ask questions about uh this particular session and then any other questions that you may have uh if we have time and we we are able to get to those um any questions that are um in more depth than what time that we have uh or issues that you may have uh we'll just recommend that you put in an issue with hi if it is an um an issue that you're having or if there's a question you can find us in the community put the question in the community and you can tag um anyone in now now intelligence so let's get started so some quick uh logistic information so this is for you so fresh ideas and better understanding and great practical guidance is what we try to provide in these academy sessions so like i said before you know we will transition over to q a where you can ask more in-depth questions uh based off of what the presentation is if it's not answered already in the preso we have a really good freezo today that's pretty in-depth uh with some good demos as well so hopefully it will answer a lot of the questions this is being recorded so if that is an issue with you or your company you might want to go ahead and drop now um and because this is recorded uh it will be out on uh youtube here a little bit later today and also a link for that in our community and like i said before q a so feel free to ask questions um in the q window if you can uh some questions do come in chat uh every once in a while but if you can kind of direct those to q a we'll get to them there if it is a question uh during the pre-zo that we're actually able to answer we'll go ahead and type an answer there and then uh if not we'll wait to the presentation in and demo is done and then we'll get um you know those questions answered there so uh today we have laviga that's joined us and she is a product product manager in now intelligence and she's going to go over some really great uh content she is a resident guru in these things so uh you know we definitely look forward to hearing what she has to say even myself i look forward to learning some new stuff always um and today she's going to go over you know analytics in cube quebec particular specific things using business calendars reports formatting and functions and calculations uh some of this is uh some of these features are new in quebec so that's exciting as well so with that uh laviga if you are ready you can definitely take over sharing and we can get this thing going hi everybody i am ludwig as thomas already mentioned i am a product manager but performance analytics i'm i'm really excited to share these three new features which will help you build better reports um and the three features that we look at today are business calendars how you can leverage customized calendars in reporting and also performance analytics and how the second one is formatting reports how you can create efficient and usable reports by formatting the content of the reports and the third one is function calculations these is a long requested feature this will provide you ability uh to create um function function fields uh like concatenating two strings or extracting a substring without further ado let's get into the details of each of these the first one analytics with business calendars as i said uh this feature provides an ability to use uh fiscal or business calendars created in a servicenow instance in reporting now fiscal characters or even business calendars have been around for some time now you you can create them outside of reporting in the platform what this feature does is help you leverage these calendars while creating reports so you could create reports like let's say uh how many incidents are resolved within sla time every quarter or every fiscal year reports like this based on custom calendars and another nice thing about this is that the values displayed in the report uh are nicely edited labels it's possible to also configure these labels while confirming configuring the calendars so it's not some dates some random dates but actually the user friendly label for that physic fiscal period or any custom business calendar period that you can create in the servicenow instance and it is not limited to reporting you could also do the same for indicators so it's possible to plot data using fiscal calendars or business calendars the generic term you can also filter aggregate based on this and view score values uh for these uh fiscal or business calendar periods let's get into some details around the configuration of it in a sense what are the roles required if i want to leverage this feature for reports any users who can create reports can leverage the calendars that are available in the instance and for indicators any user who can configure and create indicator sources uh can attach a business calendar ah to the indicator source so here you see on the right side in the indicator form there is an entry for fiscal calendar uh for business calendar and here you could choose uh the calendar uh that you would like to attach for this indicator source and the collection is based on the calendar associated to the source when it comes to creating the calendars only admins can create business calendars currently that does not change and this is outside of reporting or pa so admins have to configure these calendars for you and once they are created and configured you can leverage them in reports and indicators thereby the pa pictures um as i i'm using the term business calendar and fiscal calendar like fiscal calendar is just a special type of business calendar that will that will help you do physical reporting and there is a special role fiscal calendar admin so these admins can configure fiscal calendars that can create fiscal calendars whereas the more generic business calendars imagine let's say you want to create a gregorian calendar which is already available now but if you want to exclude some holidays or you you want to create any other custom calendar that not that does not follow the usual rules of a gregorian calendar then you would need an admin to create this as a new business calendar entry and once it is so created it is available in reporting and pa to be in performance analytics widgets to be used you would also notice uh from quebec a new entry called standard calendar what this is uh is the legacy calendar in the sense what was before quebec uh the standard gregorian calendar that is converted to standard calendar so once you upgrade your instance from anything before quebec to quebec you would find this entry in all your reports that leverage calendars and we also provide another gregorian calendar um these both are essentially the same but it is not possible to configure standard calendar in any way so it is all fixed if you want to extrude some days have different start date ended have different lengths of quarter periods it's not possible in any way to configure this minus some system properties however gregorian calendar is more flexible you can configure it in uh multiple ways i can show in the demo what i mean but these are this is what is the legacy calendar what you see as standard calendar i will move to the demo so i'm in report designer i clicked create new to create a report i want to drag the incidents closed every fiscal quarter so the table is incident table i will choose a trend report and trend by closed you see there are these new entries calendar and per so this is the default standard calendar but now i would choose the fiscal calendar and i want to brand it per fiscal quarter when i run there it is now i can see that in fiscal quarter 4 most of the incidents are closed so in this way you can leverage business calendars and reporting similarly in pa let's say opening incidents open here again there is an entry for calendar i could choose same fiscal calendar and choose a frequency and when i update the collection is based on this calendar just to show where these business calendars are available in the system uh there is this entire section this is outside as i mentioned outside pa and reporting this is a platform feature you can and platform admins can access this business calendars they can create new calendars and whatever you see as a business calendar group here you can find the list of all the calendars available in instance and this these are the options you would see in a report or an indicator source and every calendar has every calendar group has a calendar associated with it and every calendar is uh for different periods and in in this period you would have uh more entries like for example the physical quarter has uh more uh it is the association between the group and the calendar can be found here and the entries actually define the uh the start and end date but this is all configuration outside of the reporting itself that an admin does i i will uh put a link to the documentation uh to get more details for this configuration but essentially business calendar groups are the ones that are available in the ui inside report designer and indicator source uh to be selected uh i'll pause here for a minute thomas before we go to the next topic what do you think oh yeah i mean there was one question that came in that we could answer real quickly it says our system is already on physical calendars and working fine in pda do i need to change my indicators which kind of makes me wonder about the question i don't know if that was a system setting that they did for the platform as a whole uh but if it's all if it's working fine in pa i don't i don't know that he needs to update his name maybe philip can answer more of that we have the physical calendar plug-in installed um like this pa is working fine i'm guessing that yeah you don't have to know we can come back to that i'll try to get more details around that you can go and go forward yes i will move to the next topic which is formatting in reporting uh this feature will enable you to create more uh user-friendly reports and we support two kinds of formatting uh one is number formatting and duration formatting so currently if you have a dashboard with this these kind of reports uh now you would be presented with options to make this uh look user friendly with abbreviation or for example in this duration you don't have to see until the second maybe there is a way for you if it matters only to see till days and hours there are options to do so and this is what is part of formatting so large numbers can be formatted into small values using abbreviations and we also have a bunch of rounding options and and durations can also be formatted with short forms and internationalization is supported for durations formatted in this way these values are all internationalized this is supported only in a subset of the chart types and it is supported for aggregate values multi-pivots chart support formatting single scores including real time single scores and bar spice family and time series time series only support duration formatting i i will show in the demo about how this can be set up what are all the configuration options available and when it comes to role restrictions this feature is available for all users of report designer and any user who can create a report can also format the value that they can see in the report um i will show the demo including both formatting and function calculations they are pretty much uh in the same example um if there are questions i can pass otherwise i will move on to the next topic you can move on okay perfect um function calculations uh function calculations help you perform data transformations in the fields in inside a report for example if you want to find the duration an incident took from to move from open to closed state then you could uh create a function definition that will calculate this uh difference so imagine this is one of the examples but there are multiple functions available or the list of functions that are available are arithmetic operations like add multiply subtract divide and date operations like date difference and day of the week string operations like length sub substring concat and position a position will enable you to search a string within a larger string and it returns the position of the string and a function called qualis which will help you find the first non-null value and this is across all data types i will show an example of coalesce in the demo and why use this of course without uh with all with all the advantages that servicenow already has like the data is secure inside the platform and you don't have to export data outside of the platform to perform these calculations another advantage is that these function fields once created can be used across so they don't just live within reporting but the fields such created can be used even for filtering for grouping for aggregations and also on any normal report list so what is the configuration around this we created a new role called function field admin and only function field admins are allowed to keep create function fields apart from the system administrator itself and admin has wildcard access to create edit edit and deactivate a function field whereas a function field admin can only create a function fields and edit and deactivate only those that this admin created so if you have two function field admins in your instance working on your instance one admin cannot uh edit or deactivate the function fields created by another function field admin however anybody can use uh fields created in a report something to notice here is that fields once created can only be deactivated but not deleted this is for better upgrade reasons uh to support upgrade ability we are not deleting these columns so they will only be deactivated um this uh there are some limitations uh around using a function field uh these is not supported in database views and you can't encrypt a function field you can't index it and while creating a function field definition let's say you created one field that is calculating the length of short description so let's call it length you can't use length in another function but you could uh create nested functions in a sense if you want to say function add of a number and then the second parameter is a subtraction of two other numbers that is possible it's always okay to use nested functions but you can't use a field inside the function definition in the maximum fields that we allow per table is 20 and while creating function fields it's not possible for function field admins to use dot what fields but only platform admins can use dot work fields and this limitation is due to the performance implications uh for using dot work fields uh so it's only now available for platform admins [Music] a special note is function fields is not something that is only reporting specific but it is you could already if you are from i think this is already available from paris onwards uh this is a dictionary field that you can uh also create from a dictionary from the table uh so you would uh like any other field you would give a type but instead uh to calculate the value you would give a provider function definition like here i am calculating the length of the short description they look well they sound similar to calculated fields where in even in calculated fields you are using multiple columns to arrive at a value but the big difference is that calculated fields are stored in the database so there is a column if you open the table even check in the database you would find the column and you would find the value however a function field is not stored it is not a physical a column in the table itself but these uh leverage sql functions so they are calculated when the data is retrieved so even though there is a configuration there is a dictionary entry if you would go into the sql and if you would actually open the table and check there would be no column so in this sense they are efficient you are not uh wasting any space on the instance to store the values and these are dynamic and you can you can also create this outside of reporting uh but from quebec onwards we are leveraging uh fields like this uh inside reporting and we also provide a user interface to create this from within the reporting experience itself so here i have a report uh all incidents on incident table and it's a single score report and this is uh how it is currently and if i want to uh make this better i i want to enable abbreviation then this is the option to set value formatting it's available under the configure tab inside report designer and when i select that i am presented with uh multiple options for formatting decimal precision this is already available but in a different tab so we brought it here inside the formatting space and there are multiple options to round uh half up half down half even up and ceiling are essentially the same but only different for negative numbers uh so ceiling of minus 2.5 would be minus 3 but up would be minus 2. so it makes a difference only for negative numbers but for positive numbers both are the same and besides you can find a description of what the rounding mechanism does and an example of how it will look this is not live data it's just an example to see how the data will look if an abbreviation is enabled and you could choose to use or not to use the comma or dot this is localized in the number and it's possible to show the un abbreviated number in the tooltip if you choose so that would format the number and i can hover to see the original number without formatting and i will create one in fact this one just to find the incidence with uh very less uh length of short description let's say if the short description is less than five carat characters it means there is not much information uh available in that incident right i would create a report using function fields choosing the incident table i will choose the single score report and this is the option configure function field saving the report so ah i will this is where you can create our definitions uh for the function fields uh so this is where you're defining what this field should do and you would see all the operations that are available are displayed here and if you hover on each of this function you would see a description of what the function does and an example of how this can be used uh and which with which fields and this gives the list of fields that are available so instead of remembering what's the field name you could use this to select the field you're looking for i will create one for short description length and the written type is a number so i will choose a whole number there are multiple types supported uh with the same view you can hover on each for more details and also an example in this case i would choose a whole number and i want to find the length uh i will i want to show what call this is here so coalesce takes any number of comma separated fields and returns the first non-empty value so it can be used across all data types uh if you are let's say there are use cases where if closed at is null then you want to use resort debt or if resolved it is also null then you want to use this updated on in such cases you can use koalis small divergence there here i would use length you see this uh there is uh the syntax checker working here and it is uh dynamic real time so whenever if there is something uh wrong with the with what is entered here then it immediately provides feedback it's possible if you are well versed with the syntax you can like i already know short description is called short description i could go ahead type in or i can use this to find the field that i am looking for short description and it automatically fills and also checks the syntax and i've created this one once that field is available now i want to filter all the incidents based on the ones where the short description is the length is less than five okay find it reload yes short description length is let's say less than five characters so there are four incidents with really unusable short descriptions and that's how you can use function fields all of these options are available in the configure both formatting and function fields are available in the configure panel of the report designer and these are features only available in report designer we don't have any support for this in report builder and the video if you don't mind i was going to add in when i i love this is an awesome feature so so well done easy to use um and in addition to like having coalesce which is incredibly powerful um you i think you mentioned it but you can nest these as well and so um the nesting is amazing right and it's stuff that we we might have done in um excel or sql before but i had a case where i i real-life case i was using this the other day i was i was parsing acl names that may or may not have a dot and i wanted to get the table name and with this i was able to combine uh subposition and substring to give me the first part of the name right i knew that acls have a naming convention it would work with anything with the naming convention and then i had a field that was specifically just the part i wanted um you know something that would have been just a nightmare to do before i would have to talk to my admins um you know write a business rule and add a new field or something and now i can just do it when i want to on the fly and just it it's awesome um what i recommend when i when i as we've been rolling this out is that i've created a new group of reporting power users and i give them the uh the new function field admin i believe is the role and so that way i have a nice named group of that um and it's important everybody sees this because if you don't have that you won't see it right so a lot of us on the call and our production instances don't have admin we wouldn't see this so i asked my admins create a reporting power users group and basically talk to me and i'll get you in that group you get this um and then as i said there's some other roles that i might put in whether it's modifying report ranges or or creating uh report sources you know maybe i give a report admin or whatever the case may be um but i have that group which now it's it's my power users who who know how to use this and can use it and it is just it's one of the best features i've been dreaming about this for eight years um and to see it in here is is pretty amazing yesterday um there's a couple questions that have come in um as well if you don't mind sure you're great for those so the first one is the 20 uh the 20 field limit yes and and a couple are i think are the same question is it 20 can i have 20 function fields defined or can i only use 20 at a time in a single report you can have 20 function fields defined per table these also include the deactivated fields which means for that table any report on that table will also have only 20 uh fields available so it's just the simple definition that has the limit of 20. it is it's not whether you use them or not uh they're in there okay hopefully that answered the question those questions that came in and a question came in and if you just want to clarify this um in the report in function fields can i use dot walked fields only admins can use starbucks fields only if you're a platform administration administrator and not from this ui uh you could create function field from the dictionary so it's only possible at the dictionary level uh that you can use dot worked fields but from report designer if you are a function field admin you can't use dot work field even if you're a platform admin from that ui you can't use drop field however if you're a platform admin you could go configure table and here create a new column second teacher and you could uh give a function field definition i need to save it but uh it's i think i already have a screenshot for it better shown quicker here so there would be a function field definition that will show up here so in this uh ui you can use dot walked fields but no and the syntax is the same so we have we have the builder where it comes in before and the syntax is here and this is part of the encoded query string as well as it comes in so if you're writing encoded query strings or we're doing custom filters it actually works the same there as well again awesome um uh and then one one i'm gonna ask one more related question that came in about uh about performance um so how much time is it is added when when at when running these or just can you speak to performance about these because i know with calculated fields in the past i had similar functionality but i have told everybody on this call and if not i'm telling you no don't use calculated fields because they can be a major performance hit how does performance act relate to function fields it is definitely better than calculated fields it will take less time than what calculated fields would have taken otherwise for the same reasons that the data is stored for calculated fields but this is a query on the fly a runtime query so definitely better than calculated fields right so we're running these on the database side not on the app node not on the app node it's on the database server yes yeah and in my experience running them there in theory is a hit but i've never been able to measure it uh calculated fields we can see that it that it comes in but uh in uh in function fields the performance has been phenomenal um and then uh one more in here so we've been talking about reporting report designer what about pa am i able to am i be able to use function fields in pa yes you can uh however the ui that i just showed is not available in inside analytics sub or any of the widgets you would have to go the table approach or even created in this ui then they are available uh to be used even in pa so you can collect uh on these columns but it's not a physical column but it acts like any other regular column so if my admin defines it in the on the table we certainly can use it uh which would be good for something like a length but i we can't define them on the fly today we're still going to use pa scripts if i needed to divide it on the fly yes all right i hope it comes across this is just such an awesome feature um i i love uh i i've been using it and i was shredding some reports i was doing some stuff on in my quebec instance and i had to run something on in paris and i didn't have it and it made me sad um because it's great um i i do want to note if you're i think of the documentation it's right but i i just send a note to our doc door doc writers the uh glide functions and in what we're seeing in the function field here those those exist going back to new york i think um maybe before then function fields have actually been in the system for quite some time just never been exposed in reporting um however when we when we added them into reporting we added a few new functions so i know coalesce is new um there's another new one as well but i remember um add subtract length uh those have been there so they'll work right and the substring is new as new as well um so those string ones which we knew that everybody on this call would want um those are only in quebec so even if i'm defining them um in the dictionary i could define a coalesce field in the dictionary in quebec but not in pairs those were new fields and and i i think it was in the developer api documentation about glide functions those were missing um hopefully they'll be added uh shortly but just be aware um that we added some new stuff and that'll be a little bit clear in the documentation soon but again hopefully none of us have to do it because we'll just do this on the fly and report designer and things are going to work great yes i will also put the link to the documentation for all of these features in the presentation which will which will be shared uh with the attorneys after the session awesome thank you lavish and uh adam as well great stuff so couple other questions that came in um and this one actually from philip may have been answered i think adam asked it again but just to kind of hit it again so sorry if i missed it when you say you can't use more than 20 functions per table is that per report or did that was that answered yes it is per table per table thank you all right so we have one around the business calendar a couple questions here so first said great new features can a business calendar be configured to work days hours uh and then also there are possible performance concerns with creating functions other than dot walking to a field what should be avoided so maybe the business calendar one first and then maybe if you can talk to um anything else that should be avoided as it relates to functions so for the business calendar was can it be configured to work days and hours okay first the business calendar one right i don't think till hours but martha maybe can you take that one okay marty you can speak now thank you thank you very much uh hi everyone uh so for uh reports uh yes there are no limitation on the business calendar supporting uh the hours uh for pa is still a limitation so uh pa the minimum is still one day so we you we cannot go lower than that time so you cannot collect for um just two hours span and then next to it another two hours so with performance analytics um yeah but with the reporting you should be able to trend uh if you have spans of uh hours okay thank you maura appreciate that uh and then the second part of that um which is goes back to functions it says also there are possible performance concerns when creating with creating functions other than dot walking to fulfill what should be avoided or the is there anything else that should be um i don't know if you have avoided lists as much as limitations but anything that should be avoided well for the indexing maybe one tip here is you can't index the field itself but you could index the parameters like all the fields that are used within this function definition or create a combined index for all those columns that will help with the indexing limitation should help with performance also do we want to note about acls and security for function fields uh yes the security will uh work uh like the individual whatever columns or let's say whatever fields are part of the function definition that security is uh honored so if you are not allowed to see one of the values that is used inside the function definition you are not you also don't have access to the function field itself okay thank you for that can we capture the function fields and update sets and move them around the instance so we would not require to create again i think so yes and i isak would be a better person to answer that they're they're else is he gone um i will stall while you promote him up to a panelist um definitely the ones in the field are uh if my so if i if i want something that i'm not defining on the fly that i want everybody to have so let's say like straight short description length if that's the case then i actually probably want my admin to add it as a field as a function field on there which is moving like any other field that comes through and then as far as ones that are created on uh in a report is going to answer that yes hello everyone so uh function fields are as visa mentioned earlier they are exactly like any other field so they are captured in update sets and you can move uh the the creation of it or even some updates if you do in the future so it's exactly the same like any other field in the platform awesome thank you so can the formatting work on pa widget labels no it's only for reports okay and then we have one that goes back to business calendars and it's asking can you explain further the difference between standard and gorian calendars uh both are gregorian but standard is not configurable whereas gregorian will be available in the list of calendars so you could uh configure uh configure calendar like any other calendar so as soon as calendars not sharing my instance so you see [Music] there is no standard calendar here you can only configure a gregorian calendar so if you want to make uh some modifications to a gregorian calendar then you would use the gregorian calendar standard calendar is legacy what has been there till now that is standard calendar why that's a good question to uh provide the backward compatibility and uh you um well you don't ha uh have that capability of uh for the standard it's it's just java calendar behind the scenes uh so this framework to leverage this framework you have to define uh something separately and it is further configurable so that's why we have created a separate entry for gregorian calendar in this [Music] business calendars am i able to deactivate that or delete it if i so choose or would that be a bad idea you could delete it but it will be a bad idea you can delete the gregorian calendar from the business calendar group uh and maybe generate any other type of calendar that more fits more your business cases you cannot delete the standard calendar okay so if my if my standard gregorian were identical yeah then deleting the gregorian would be an option yes the standard is for the purpose every user in the platform has his own time zone right so if you use standard it will use the time zone of the user and so it's there for backwards compatibility so all the current reports can work with a standard calendar and then the gregorian calendar is something that is generated in the platform in a time zone or in any time zone that depends and so micro so my gregorian is time zone fixed so that might be something where i am uh if i'm based in amsterdam then i would generate my gregorian calendar to be in cet and that is cet dates and it would it would appear would that be consistent for all users which are different than standard where today is different for somebody in cnt cet and somebody in pacific yeah i think gregorian out of the box is also not linked to one time zone if i'm not yeah so gregorian will act the same way but it is possible for any report or admins to be able to change that and have any specific time zone that they want so that the reports will always display the data based on one certain time zone great um you know as we're going through these i think the uh the questions are are wrapping up there's we just talked about a ton of content we talked about kpi signals uh last session lots of really interesting stuff this time some of it that it's good to have admin for everybody on the call if you don't have admin remember you can you can go to developer.servicenow.com and get a personal developer instance or a pdi you'll hear me just call it a pdi but the personal developer instances they're free they're yours every person can get one you just gotta sign in the same login you use for community or support is the same thing works on developer you can get a pdi if you're getting a new one you'll get it on quebec if you have one you can upgrade it to quebec and then you have access you'll be admin you can you can start working on these features um you can see how it looks out of the box as you understand what this should what this should like look like or what you want to ask your admins to give you access to awesome great information adam um everyone that was able to answer some questions uh really good stuff um it looks like the questions have wrapped up so um we'll go ahead and close this out so let me just thank you again really good content like adam said this is going to be one that will be viewed quite often these are asks that i've definitely seen in the community so it'd be great to actually be able to direct them to this to get you know really good information and some demo to actually see it so thank you for coming and doing it today uh really great job thank you so uh this session um and uh upcoming sessions of course past presentations are on the community under the performance analytics academy uh page and this one will be there later on today if not first thing tomorrow morning so make sure that you're going there and accessing um what is out there uh so may 5th and i'll and i have a little slide there is no session in two weeks we'll actually see you back in four weeks in two weeks is knowledge so there will not be a session um then so again make sure that you utilize in the community a lot of great information that is out there um a lot of people answer questions not only not only servicenow uh people but also uh people customers that are out there that really have a really good take on things as well and have done some really good stuff but just utilize it i mean the their training links there how to get started um you know continuing to make things better for you and of course the pa academies are out there and essential training or whatnot just make sure that you're utilizing good stuff there and of course uh the k-20 labs are still out there and now learning and um but all of you i know are gearing up for knowledge 21 and have registered for that and is ready to go with that here in a couple weeks but if there are some k20 things that you need just know that they're still in now learning uh so a couple other sessions that you may be interested in so mobile uh has an at you know academy as well as as well as virtual agent they do the same sort of thing that we do every couple weeks so you know definitely go and check out those if there's information that you need or have asked or if you're just curious about you know things as it's related to mobile and of course virtual agent go and check those out um as well and those links will be um in the um event information once we get done uh and like i was talking about a few minutes ago knowledge 21 is coming um that is the right thing 20 hours um the actually it's 10 19 now because i did that a couple couple hours ago so 19 days i'm sorry is when knowledge kicks off so if you have not registered um and you want to please get out there and register for that of course it is a virtual event again this year uh but some really great sessions that will be there and um you know just take advantage of it and get out there and register definitely so like i was saying there is no academy session here in two weeks uh however there will be an academy style session during knowledge that our own uh adam style will actually be doing i don't know exactly when that will happen but so it will not be on the same day as a regular scheduled academy for us but uh you can definitely look and get registered for this particular one like i said that adam is doing and uh it'll be really great things uh in that one as well and as usual a slide that if you've been here before you've seen or if you're if you're new that you should take note of um here there's a great article out there that actually gives you really good ideas of how you should ask questions in the community to make the answers come faster and more readily available so just pay attention to that particular article and view it if you have not or that blog it's an article and view that article to give some really good tips on actually um you know writing questions and then remember as we close out again you know just reiterate the you know use the community for your questions if you have questions you know ask there uh share your expertise and leverage exercise servicenow partners and customers uh put screenshots when you can screenshots are huge and very valuable um and then of course catch up on previous topics on the performance analyst academy um page itself and submit and vote up ideas on the audio portal so if there's something that you would like to have that we don't have that's how we sort of work around you know a few things in future releases is getting ideas so make sure you go to the ideal portal and put those out there as well and of course always take some training there's lots of free training and self-paced training that is out there and now learning go to now learning and create account if you have not and you know get some of that free training take advantage of it you know re revisit always the you know the basis with servicenow fundamentals and of course you can expand your knowledge and do other things like virtual agent fundamentals or predictive intelligence fundamentals really good stuff out there um and like i said the k20 labs are there but we're two weeks away from k21 and all of you are going to be in tons of sessions i know so uh really good stuff so with that we don't have any other questions uh and everyone that came we really appreciate it and like i said we'll be back in a month or four weeks and for all of the uh servicenow that we promoted up to panelists that were able to give quite uh answered questions thank you for doing that in la vida once again great information great session and we really appreciate you do that so with that we'll give you back around four minutes of your time thank you everyone for joining
