General Debug Process

image

Detail examples for each process’ solution

1. Does the IRE identifier field value match?

Go to “Class Manager”

image

Click “Open Hierarchy”

image

Find corresponding class and click “Identification Rules”

image

Make sure current identifier value matches the target CI’s identifier value

2. Is source recency timestamp field mapped?

If source recency timestamp field is mapped, IRE will only update records that have new timestamp value > old time stamp value. Please evaluate whether you need to map source recency timestamp field. If it is needed and mapped, please make sure new timestamp value > old time stamp value.

3. Is the discovery source allowed by IRE reconciliation rules to update?

Make sure current discovery source is allowed by reconciliation rules if any exist

4. Does the current domain match target record's domain?

Go to top right corner and click gear icon

image

Select “Developer” section

image

Make sure current domain value matches target CI record’s domain value

5. If source native key is provided, does each record has unique source native key value?

For example, if 2 CI records have the same source native key value, then IRE will merge those 2 CI records together which overwrites each other and cause data not inserting correctly. Please make sure each record has unique source native key value.
