[Music] hi my name is justin meadows and i am a solutions consultant for crossfields i started in october of 2019 uh before everything went crazy but uh fortunately when i started i got to figure out working from home before everybody else had you so i actually spent some time thinking about like a day in the life of a solutions consultant i think the biggest thing and probably the most rewarding thing is getting to work with customers looking at someone's business challenges or the business opportunities trying to figure out the right technical or process solution to help them solve that and make things better in their organization or for their team even that means for me in my day to day that i'm getting to do demonstrations like live demonstrations of software and get to show off cool features and possibilities for what they could do which also means that get to spend a lot of time learning about new capabilities and new features so in this role we get to keep learning you know not just servicenow and all the releases twice a year but all the other applications that i mentioned microsoft earlier that integrate with servicenow you know we have to learn those too in order to kind of provide those wholesome solutions so there's a balance between kind of doing the demonstrations listening to the customer putting a solution together presenting that to them and then learning keeping up with the next thing that's out there and like what might be the next future possible solution it's a rewarding and challenging role to actually be in there's still a technical side to this role as well because we actually get to demo servicenow from showcase instances that are configured with all the bells and whistles that you might want the customers might want to see simply stay technically proficient in the technology that we're demonstrating that's the last cool thing [Music]
