[Music] i'm abby nelson i'm a senior recruiter here at crossties and i have been with crossfields for about three years working at crossfields i really enjoy the different events that we do so this year we did two global all company events and then throughout the year we do smaller events by department or by geography so it's a lot of fun to always have something to look forward to so we've done virtual trivias virtual happy hours virtual baking classes one my favorite is probably trivia i think it's so fun because it's such a variety of people and it's usually maybe sometimes people i usually don't talk to at all and you just find these unique trivia quizzes that we have in our company it's so funny being a recruiter at crossfields i really enjoy the people i work with and the educational opportunities that we have so the leadership team the managers that i get to work with are awesome and then the hiring team is just really supportive throughout the interview process too i feel like we collaborate really well as a recruiting and a hiring team together and then on the educational opportunities it's really fun to talk to candidates about the different learning courses that we offer different certifications that we provide to our employees 100 of our recruiting team this past year became certified diversity recruiters so that was really exciting to see our company really put that value on our goal for crossfields to become more involved in in diversity inclusion and belonging my work environment while it looks like i'm in a cabin or a sauna this is just my house so i've been working remotely the last year and a half and i really enjoy the flexibility that i have um and then being able to obviously work with with my pets at home is always helpful to to have our pets around a little bit more too has been really fun
