About
ServiceNow® Operational Technology Asset Management (OTAM) is an extension of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) designed to specifically manage the complete lifecycle and maintenance of operational technology (OT) and operational equipment (OE) assets. OTAM expands the functionality of EAM workflows to include hardware and firmware in addition to OT and OE assets.
Key Features
- **Lifecycle management:** Manage the complete lifecycle of all assets that are part of the OT network, whether they are OT class or hardware class assets, and the operational equipment (OE) assets controlled by the devices on the OT network.
- **Inventory management**** :** Manage the physical spaces, such as stockrooms and warehouses, that house in-stock assets, and the workflows to optimize inventory, such as transfer orders, advanced shipment notifications, depot repairs, and audits.
- **Maintenance plans**** :** Manage planned maintenance, conditioned-based maintenance, and meter-based maintenance activities of all assets managed by OTAM.
- **Firmware management:** Manage firmware installations on OT and hardware class assets and normalize the discovered firmware models against a content library curated by ServiceNow. Map normalized firmware models to CPE vulnerability published data.
