Reconcile available rights against deployments for sub-capacity eligible IBM products. Configure IBM license consumption reporting using either of the following options:

- Use ServiceNow Discovery and Software Asset Management with an IBM Authorized SAM Provider (IASP)

- Use ServiceNow Discovery and the Software Asset Management publisher pack for IBM integrated with an IASP platform to track and manage your IBM products on Processor Value Unit (PVU), Resource Value Unit (RVU MAPC), and Virtual Processor Core (VPC) license metrics. With IBM's approval, you can use this integration to track and manage IBM licensing directly as an alternative to the IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) or BigFix Inventory.

- Use ILMT v2 APIs
- In addition to supporting the PVU and RVU license metrics that are also supported by the ILMT v1 APIs, the ILMT v2 APIs support the VPC license metric. You can integrate the Software Asset Management publisher pack for IBM with ILMT v2 APIs to track usage and manage your IBM products on Processor Value Unit (PVU), Resource Value Unit (RVU MAPC), and Virtual Processor Core (VPC) license metrics.
