The Bulk Schedule Setup Wizard enables Rota Administrators to create on-call schedules for multiple teams at once using a guided, step-by-step process.

- Multi-select group association: Select multiple groups and associate them with a single shift template. You can link one shift template to multiple groups.
- Excel roster upload: Download a preformatted roster template, then upload it with the mapped team rosters. The wizard validates the file and displays any errors before you can continue.
- Escalation policy configuration: Configure escalation policies and conditions as part of the setup process to ensure the right teams are notified when incidents occur.
- Guided review and validation: Review your schedule configuration before submission and receive clear warnings or error messages to help resolve issues early.
- Asynchronous schedule creation: Submit the configuration for validation. The system creates schedules after validation completes.
- Schedule completion notifications: Receive an email when schedule creation is complete, including a summary of created schedules and any issues that may require attention.
- Restricted access: The bulk schedule creation entry point on the Teams page appears only for users with the rota\_admin role.
