The solution uses a ServiceNow MID Server and a dedicated resolver JAR to communicate with the Arcon Digital Vault and return the requested credentials to ServiceNow without persistently storing retrieved credentials in ServiceNow.

The solution supports on-demand credential retrieval for Discovery activities and uses encrypted configuration details on the MID Server for communication with the Arcon Digital Vault. Communication with the external vault is secured using HTTPS/TLS.
