Its plug and play configuration is compatible with SGC Central, making it easy and straightforward to set up. The Connector allows the use of tags from Bluecat and handles the life cycle of networks and IPs, giving you complete discretion on your policies.

The connector pulls the following classes into ServiceNow CMDB:

Notification Support​
Creates a task in the IP Address Management Task table and assigns it to the preferred user group when a network is inserted or deleted from the CMDB CI IP Network Subnet table, based on the user-defined action preference (insertion/deletion).​

Subnetwork Filtering​
Supports selective subnetwork filtering, allowing IP address data to be imported only from chosen networks. These subnetworks can be configured through the custom table SG-BlueCat Detailed Network Subnet.​

Lifecycle Management​
Implements lifecycle management using soft deletion to retire CI records that are no longer present in the source platform or are excluded by the applied filters.
