About
A task plan template enables business users to define repeatable tasks and other items required to complete a business process. A task plan template consists of template items that define tasks, including any child tasks or related items that are created when the template is applied.
Key Features
**Task Dependencies**
- The Template Dependencies tab on a task plan template record displays a node map of dependencies between template items. Users can create a dependency, and view them.
- The following dependency types are supported:
- Finish to start: the successor task starts when the predecessor task is completed.
- Start after start: the successor task starts when the predecessor task is started.
- Start together: both tasks start at the same time.
**Sharing and Access control of task plan templates**
The Share plan modal in the task plan template workspace provides three views: Share plan, Success, and Manage access for configuring, confirming, and managing access to a task plan template.
**Apply template as an action in Task plan templates**
An action of apply template has been added in flow designer. Users can leverage this action to automatically create tasks from task plan template using flow designer.
