About

Keyva Event Integration for BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management enables multiple systems and application monitoring tools that generate high volumes of event data to integrate events into a single Proactive Operations Platform. Our integration enables ServiceNow to view, manage, and model events raised by BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management allowing the customer to use one console for enterprise wide Incident and service impact management.

EVENT INTEGRATION FOR BMC PROACTIVENET PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND SERVICENOW

Through this integration, alerts from BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management (i.e. BMC Event Manager) are automatically generated as tickets in ServiceNow Incident Management enabling joint BMC Software and ServiceNow customers to better manage and understand how events detected by BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management affect the business. The integration translates the alert into an interpretable ServiceNow entry and then creates a ticket in the ServiceNow Incident Management database. This integration provides the following benefits:

• Bidirectional data flow and data synchronization between the two products

• Alerts can be filtered in BPPM (BEM), allowing only alerts of interest to be forwarded to ServiceNow

• Configuration of mapping between BPPM (BEM) and ServiceNow Incident form is supported for selected fields.

• BPPM (BEM) alert filtering is supported by BPPM (BEM) rules.

• On modification/closure of the event in BPPM (BEM), the integration modifies/closes the corresponding ticket in ServiceNow.

• On modification/closure of the ticket in ServiceNow, the integration modifies/closes the corresponding event in BPPM (BEM).
