This application allows a customer to use Tenable as a Configuration Compliance integration by extending the ServiceNow Configuration Compliance application. The core Configuration Compliance tables Test (sn\_vulc\_test) and Test Result (sn\_vulc\_result) tables were extended. STIG information is exported from a tool called the STIG Viewer and imported into the Test table via the standard ServiceNow data source/import set process.
The integration exports the compliance vulnerabilities directly from Tenable.sc. This is delivered as a JSON attachment and is parsed using the Perspecta integration. The results are delivered into the Test Results table in the Configuration Compliance module in ServiceNow. Users can schedule this import or initiate it on-demand.
