About
The Insights panel is where you activate Insights and select which kinds of them to show. Insights are notifications on a Platform Analytics dashboard that let a viewer know when something unexpected is showing in an indicator. The viewer can then investigate the cause and take any necessary actions. The dashboard owner can currently select from the following types of insights to show:
* Statistically anomalous indicator trends
* Significant contributing factors (breakdowns) to indicator trends
* Missed targets
* Targets projected to be missed
* Exceeded threshold values
* Threshold values projected to be exceeded
Key Features
* Insights alert dashboard viewer when KPI behavior needs investigation, instead of requiring the viewer to deduce from the charts that something is going on.
* Insights come from several different sources, including missed targets and statistical anomalies (KPI Signals).
* Dashboard owner decides which kinds of insights to show.
