Key Features

** ** The Akamai API Security integration for ServiceNow’s configuration management database (CMDB) enables you to manage your APIs in ServiceNow. The CMDB integration uses APIs in API Security to create and update API Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB.

If you want to use ServiceNow’s Application Vulnerability Response (AVR) module to track and manage API vulnerabilities discovered by API Security in ServiceNow, you must use the CMDB integration together with Akamai’s AVR integration, since the AVR integration links AVR application vulnerability items (AVIs) to CIs (specifically, API Components).
