With Journey Accelerator, ServiceNow admins can easily create templates (specific to department, country, etc.) that enable managers to create personalized action plans for key employee transitions, such as promotions, transfers, onboarding, offboarding, and more. Journey Accelerator helps automate manager-driven processes once done in spreadsheets, email, powerpoint, and other systems.

Managers, mentors, and employees collaborate on action plans from the Employee Center.

* Managers create customized plans and to-dos, assign mentors, and track progress
* Mentors view or modify the plans and track progress
* Employees view plans and update their progress
* Admins and managers can add learning from Learning Posts into action plans

**From Journey Accelerator application, administrators can:**

* Define and manage plan types, configurations, and stages for transitions such as promotions, onboarding, offboarding, and more
* Create and manage task-based, to-do templates for specific employee audiences
* Track plan progress and template usage from the Journey Accelerator dashboard
* If using Listening Posts, admins can trigger pulse surveys during the action plans to gather feedback on the Journey

**From the Employee Center, managers, employees, and mentors can:**

* **Managers** (Only managers can create plans):
* Use the drag and drop interface to create customized plans
* Create to-dos and save them as templates for easier re-use
* Publish plans based on employee transition date (i.e. start date)
* Assign mentors and their permissions (either read or write plan permissions)
* (with Learning Posts) Assign trainings from Learning Posts
* **Mentors**: View the plans, modify the plans, complete their to-dos, and track the plan progress
* Create to-dos and save them as templates for easier re-use
* **Employees**: View the plans, complete their to-dos, and track their progress
* Schedule meetings and events in Outlook from the Journey Accelerator to-do (if using Microsoft Exchange Online)
* Note: No IntegrationHub license required, Exchange Online spoke is availalable and needs installation
* Complete training and learning assigned by admins and managers
