This plug-in for the ServiceNow Platform works in conjunction with the BigID ServiceNow Data Exchange App to integrate BigID data findings into the ServiceNow CMDB for Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) usage.

The application synchronizes BigID data source and data source sensitivity level information with the ServiceNow CMDB. Data sources and their scan results are available from within BigID and are also brought into ServiceNow either on demand or via a scheduled job.
This plug-in, which supports the BigID ServiceNow Data Exchange Application, creates records of data sources (db\_instances), catalogs and related information objects to hold the sensitivity information brought over from the BigID platform.
The data sources in ServiceNow can be created within BigID using ServiceNow Discovery. The new data sources can be exported to BigID to configure the data source’s scan profile as appropriate.
